Church at a Crossroad!

This word started with the Lord telling me I was at the end of the current dimension place in the Spirit. I had unrest. I knew I must push on, push up, change some things, and go into higher dimension in order to go forward with Him. We are always needing the fresh work God is doing. We must have new wineskins to hold the new wine of God’s spirit. The new wine is for the wedding. It is preparing us for the wedding feast with Jesus. The new wine is the strength of His joy, it’s peace, it is courage, endurance and freedom. It is the Holy Ghost work in us as we hold everything with a slip knot, surrendered, yielded and humble resisting the devil and drawing close to God to let Him change you and touch your heart and spirit. All we are and All we have belong to God Our lives are not our own. We have been bought with a price to be completely redeemed to our beginning destiny in God. J.H.

“Word for the church!”

The  Church is at a Crossroads in the Spirit as are many others.  You stand at the threshold of the fresh move of God? Which way will you go? Will you choose to stay in the comfortable place with old wineskins of traditional use and move with the ornaments of man rather than the raw power of God? Will you choose to stay where it is safe, where you know how to move. Or will you choose to risk the mess, the uncertainty and be uncomfortable in a new place where you have to trust God completely. God is pouring out His new wine. New wine cannot be poured into old wineskins or both are lost.

Will you choose to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit in intimate relationship? We cannot follow or only listen to the many voices of other streams of ministry. We must prayerfully listen to our inner most being where Holy Spirit speaks and not copy others in what they do or how they do it. True fruitfulness with power only comes from intimacy with the Lord.

Will you open your heart to change, to new ways, to let Holy Spirit teach you and lead you? Or will you choose to stay in yesterday; With the mind set of things that have happen in your life previous? Or will you not fall back but move on with the Lord into a whole new chapter of life, a new beginning, a new chapter? Will you let him heal all the past , strip away what is no longer working, stand in a place of awe and wonder because you have never been here before. Will you let him give you His mind and a whole new Holy Ghost grid? Will you let Him take you where you have never been and see God like you never have?

A new beginning requires a surrender, a yielding, a submission to new methods, new thinking new wineskins that only Holy Spirit can give you as you surrender to His move. God never changes in who He is but He is always changing His methods…for the Spirit River is always moving and changing its current and course.

You must pack up the past in your suitcase allowing the Holy Spirit to pack only what He wants you to carry into your new place in Him. He will never let you lose what God has accomplished in you, but He will strip away what is no longer effective.  Church there is change needed for the new wine, for the new move of God. It will not look like what you have known. It may be messy at time, it may mean new songs, giving up the order you are used to or completely letting God just rearrange everything. He may pull up, tear down and then build up a new powerful church where the walls are the fire of God, and the glory of God dwells in the midst.

The Lord wants the church that will leave all tradition and step out into the new day, the new age where Holy Spirit is creating His bride for His coming. He wants it to be all about Jesus and your heart. He wants the soul of the church to be fastened tightly to its head, the Lord Jesus. He wants the spirit of His church to be adventurous in Him, unafraid, unmovable, full of agape love, fully consecrated and fully alive in Him that the Fathers  work of the Kingdom might be accomplished until Jesus returns. He wants the church to become the sons of God, mature and moving in His authority on the earth from a heavenly place where He has seated them. He wants to bless and favor the church that will humble themselves in utter dependance  and fully yield to obedience at all costs.

The Lord says to His beloved church “Do not miss the day of your visitation for I desire to come and abide with you forever. You cannot stay where you are and affect your community and surrounding area. God calls you to do what you cannot do. You must enter a new dimension of my Spirit in worship and bring down powers that hinder my move. Seek Him for it! You must let your worship break chains that bind this community. You must  forget about yourselves and enter an open heaven letting your praise be upward to the heavenly places. You must decree the words of the Lord in praise and worship that will bring Kingdom change. The fields are white for harvest.      Janee Hawks

SOAKING PRAYER IS AN OASIS

Soaking Prayer is an Oasis for me!  It is like being a sponge in the presence of Jesus and soaking up  God-life, peace, and strength. It is like my soul is drinking living water and my spirit is drinking His wine . When Jesus speaks to me its like honey & power to my lips. Deep within me I sense heaven and am lifted above all the issues of life.

Soaking prayer for me  is positioning myself humbly before God to spend quality time with Him alone. It is to lie down within my heart and mind in His green pastures and find His rest and refreshing still waters. It is to quiet my soul and know that He is God over all that concerns me. I am reminded that I shall not want for He is my Shepard.

I ask Holy Spirit to soak me in the presence of Jesus so I can be changed into His likeness. There in that place He quiets my soul so I can hear His thoughts and not my own. I love to soak with worshipful songs because music easily ministers to my deepest places.  Worshipping Him in spirit and truth just seems to drown out the onslaught of all the cares of life so I can get into the presence of Jesus.

However, I also cherish the experience of just total quietness with Jesus longing passionately for His voice and His touch. In this complete quietness there is strength, a supernatural rest, and restoration to my soul I find no other way. I believe the faithfulness of God never fails to meet us when we come to Him by faith. Time begins to fade and problems seem much smaller. When you leave this soaking prayer it is true that you carry more of Jesus with you and the grace you need for whatever you may face for that day.

These scriptures describe for me the value of soaking prayer.
Psalms 46:10 says, Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. TPT or “Be still and know that I am God.” NLV.

Matthew 11: 28-30 says Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me, I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you will discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear. TPT

Psalms 23:1-3 says, “The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bless. That’ s where he restores and revives my life. TPT.

Father, In the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ I ask you to put your anointing on all of us who love you to seek you diligently and to hunger passionately after one thing: to be with You and live in You. Lord, grace us to continually obey You and be in Your manifested presence, living under the shadow of Your wings, and releasing Your Kingdom in this world. Amen,     Janee Hawks

GOD IS MUCH MORE (Repost)

GOD IS MUCH MORE     ( RE-POSTED as it got erased from my site)

Hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas Season! Vince and I are wishing you a Blessed New Year for 2016!
Just reminded at this time of what a “MUCH MORE” GOD we serve. Just so thankful to belong to the Lord. Wanted to share my thankfulness today with you.
The Lord has always been “much more” than anything I have ever walked through in this life. He has been “much more” than any tragedy I have faced in life. He has been “much more” than any loss I have experienced. He has been “much more” than any trial, test, or temptation, experienced through the years whether short term or a long enduring ones. The Lord has always been “faithful and true.” He has been always present giving me whatever I needed through all valleys and the mountain tops. He has been “much more” than the wilderness, the desert times, or the enduring tests I have walked through. He is a very present help, “much more” in every trouble. There is nothing we can face in this life that He is not “Much More”.He is higher than any mountain top, deeper than any pit, stronger than any crisis, and sweeter than any other through it all. What a comfort our God is, what a joy, and what a hope we have to anchor us inside that special chamber of His love no matter what comes our way. Thank you Father God for being “much more” in everything we face. Thank you Lord Jesus , thank you Holy Spirit for being so “MUCH MORE” than anything or anyone to all of us again this New Year of 2016.
Believing for 100-fold increase in Sprit to Sprit communion for us all this year.

Romans 5: 8-10 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Romans 8: 31-32 If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Kingdom Blessings!
Love in Christ,
Janee

SHINE TIME

SHINE-TIME
Believers, I feel the Lord is telling me that it’s your time to shine.

Throughout history the Lord (as well as wise men), have required a training regiment for people that are potential leaders that included challenging modules.

Moses was obviously picked by God at birth for his future destiny but in order to be prepared he had to have some “training”. After being raised in Pharaoh’s house he saw the affliction of his people and the burden to help them arose. He assumed he was ready to lead them, however the Lord had an additional training course prepared for him. Moses spent 40 more years on the backside of a Midian desert before God said out of a burning bush that He wanted him to go lead the Israelites out of Egypt. This story is told in Exodus chapters 1-3. It was a difficult training course but when it was time Moses was ready to shine!

David was 10 years old when Samuel anointed him to be King, 1Sam 16:7-13. It took him twenty years to actually occupy the throne, 2 Sam 5:3-5. During those twenty years God was training David so he would be able to rule Israel in a Godly manner. David’s training included facing Goliath, finding a true friend in Saul’s son Jonathan, sparing Saul’s life twice when Saul hated him, living with the Philistines, and defeating the Amalekites with 400 men after they took his wives. These are recorded in 1Sam chapters 16-30. David had to fight numerous battles and learn patience in many situations before he was anointed king. Then when it came time for him to shine, he was ready!

I could go on with examples from the bible of how God prepares people to shine…like Abraham-Gen 22:12, Joseph-Gen 50:19-20, Joshua-Josh 1:5-7, Esther-Esther 4:14. When you have some time read more about these people that God chose to lead…it is truly amazing how God caused them to shine.

Finally, God even required Jesus to be trained. He was raised in the home of a carpenter learning that trade. Take it from me, it can be difficult work and it teaches important principles like firm foundations and solid structures are how to build a houses that stand strong in the storms of life. Then when Jesus reached adulthood and was ready to do what God had sent him to do, he still had another round of training to go through. Mat 4:1 says “Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil”. This lasted 40 days and during this time Jesus submitted himself to God rather than the desires of satan. It was a spiritual warfare that Jesus had to endure and overcome in order to be ready to shine. Jesus passed the test just like Moses and David and I know you will too. Believers, God is preparing you to SHINE and your TIME is coming.

James 1:12 “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him”.
Be Blessed, Vince Hawks
